Channel Sales Assistant Manager Asia-Pacific (APAC) – in Kuala Lumpur

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Channel Sales Assistant Manager to join our growing Sales APAC team and support with all kinds of sales inquiries along the entire sales cycle. This position has a regional focus on the APAC region and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


  • Become a PRTG Network Monitor expert in addition to other Paessler tools, systems, and our marketing strategy
  • Make warm outbound calls in effort to:
    • Familiarize prospective customers with our software and solution
    • Engage directly with customers of all sizes and industries to sell PRTG, field questions, and facilitate the trial implementation through a consultative approach
    • Qualify purchasing timeline and buying preferences
  • Field inbound warm leads from prospects currently evaluating or seeking an evaluation of our product
  • Qualification and processing of incoming inquiries and contact leads from our partners
  • Onboarding, enablement and support of partners
  • Request proper information and routing for all renewal requests
  • Quote opportunities and clearly articulate our licensing model
  • Provide first-class customer/partner support and service through engagement
  • Support event marketing initiatives such as lead follow up and qualification
  • Record of all customer/partner contacts and activities accurately in our CRM system


  • 5+ years IT sales experience, additional IT channel experience
  • Proven track record of target and quote achievement
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Proven ability to work in an innovative and ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable with all forms of outreach, including phone, emails and social
  • You are both a team player and a self-starter who is flexible, dedicated, highly motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent communication skills, an innovative mindset as well as superb negotiation skills round off your profile
  • Being familiar with Sugar CRM or similar CRM Systems would be a plus
  • It is a requirement spending some time at our headquarter in Nuremberg, Germany for 1-2 weeks at a time (after COVID-19) as deemed necessary by your manager. In addition, occasional international travel may be required.
