Around the global sales and deployment of our Paessler software products, our Business Intelligence team already processes a wide range of different data. In order to further increase the quality and value of this data and to provide our internal departments with the best possible basis for data-based decisions, we are looking for you!
You will be part of our interdisciplinary 7-person BI Scrum team, with a particular focus on connecting new data sources and processing and linking our data.

YOUR TASKS
- As a Data Engineer, you will take responsibility for our data integration and processing
- You will develop and maintain complex ETL processes using Azure Synapse pipelines, SSIS packages and T-SQL stored procedures
- You are going to integrate data from various internal & external source systems (e.g. databases, web services, event streams)
- You will take care of the structuring and preparation of the data and thus directly contribute to the improvement of our data platform
- Together with the team you will further develop the data warehouse and advanced analytics structures
- You are going to ensure that data pipelines and data stores are powerful, efficient, organized and reliable
YOUR PROFILE
- You have at least 3 years of practical experience as a data engineer
- You have in-depth knowledge of relational databases and data processing languages such as SQL or Python
- You have hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure data services - ideally Synapse, ADF, SQL Server, or ADX
- You have a basic understanding of data modeling and machine learning
- You have strong analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude
- You are familiar with working in agile teams and have a strong willingness to learn
- You have proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- You are a team player with the ability to communicate objectively and clearly
- You have a very good command of German or English
