Head of Global Sales & Business Development

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Global Sales and Business Development: You will not only develop the medium and long-term sales strategy, but also the sales team and our company in line with our corporate philosophy. This position is located in Germany.

YOUR TASKS

  • You manage the global sales department in disciplinary and technical matters, including the regionally assigned service functions.
  • You ensure the successful implementation of the qualitative and quantitative corporate goals.
  • Together with your team, you further develop the sales strategy, organization and processes within the framework of our internationally-oriented corporate strategy.
  • You continuously develop new markets, business areas, customer segments and partnerships.
  • You ensure the appropriate selection and development of the employees entrusted to you and provide a motivating, success-oriented working atmosphere.
  • You are responsible for budget planning and risk management in your area of responsibility
  • In this role, you report directly to the CEO, provide strategic advice to the top management team and work with them to further develop our company.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are internationally oriented and have many years of experience in the management and development of international sales teams in at least one of the regions EMEA, Americas or APAC.
  • You have worked successfully for several years in B2B direct sales as well as channel sales and business development in the IT industry. Ideally you are already familiar with topics such as the sales of software & services, monitoring in IT and OT or adjacent markets, alliances, P&L management.
  • You have a proven track record in the development and internationalization of sales teams.
  • As an active and winning hands-on personality, you enjoy leading multicultural, virtual teams across national borders – ideally in medium-sized companies.
  • You are characterized by a high level of social and intercultural competence and you succeed in combining employee and company interests in the best possible way.
  • You are business fluent in German and English and the ability to communicate in other languages is a plus.
  • As an entrepreneurial manager, you are very strong analytically and strategically and at the same time you are able to engage and motivate others regarding innovation and new paths.
