Sales Manager for Sub-Region in Asia-Pacific (APAC)

As Sales Manager you love interacting and building rapport with prospects, customers and partners, as well as identifying and closing sales opportunities. This position has a focus on the Asia Pacific Region and can be based either in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia/ Tokyo -Japan/ Seoul, South Korea or Sydney, Australia.

YOUR TASKS

  • You identify business opportunities with prospects
  • You build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities within the channel and facilitate sales by working closely with partners
  • You cultivate relationships with current partners and distribution partners to increase revenue
  • You understand the customer’s pain points and requirements and how our product could help them
  • You present our products to all levels within an organization on site, at events or through webinars and demos
  • You collaborate closely with marketing teams to create and launch co-marketing initiatives with partners and showing ROI
  • You assess, onboard & activate new partners
  • You are willing to travel within your designated territory to meet our resellers and partners on a regular basis or take part in regional or corporate events
  • You organize, track, and communicate your activities to your team using the provided tools

YOUR PROFILE

  • You bring a proven track record in sales, with extensive experience in channel development specific to resellers of all sizes
  • Ideally you also have experience with IT infrastructure
  • You have experience working with various CRM platforms
  • You have the proven ability to work in an innovative and ever-changing environment
  • You are fluent in English (C1); knowledge of other languages is a big plus
  • You are independent, proactive, forward thinking, and self-reliant
  • Experience working with distribution partners is a plus
  • You are willing to travel up to 30% of your time within the APAC region, as well as twice a year for 2-3 weeks to our HQ in Germany
