More than 300,000 customers worldwide use our "PRTG Network Monitor" software every day. Around this product we provide internal and external services, such as our web presence, ecommerce store and customer management, to support business processes.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our development teams in the operation and further development of our business-critical services. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the product teams to provide and operate automated, secure and stable build, test and production infrastructures.

YOUR TASKS

  • Together with our development teams, you will evaluate and implement infrastructures, scripts and tools to develop and enhance our services
  • With your experience you help our teams make the right decisions
  • You maintain and improve our development-, test- and deployment processes
  • You monitor availability, performance and resource consumption of our applications and services
  • You support our teams in troubleshooting, optimization and help them refining our business platforms and products
  • You help and educate your teammates using DevOps methods and tools

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have more than 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, DevOps engineer or in a similar role
  • You are familiar with using one of the cloud environments Azure, AWS or GCP
  • You have deep knowledge in Linux environments, scripting, containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
  • You take responsibility for our high code quality and stable environments
  • You like to share your knowledge, improve your team skills and yourself
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: logging, caching (Cloudflare), databases, DevSecOps
  • Our stack: Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Gitlab, Python, PostGreSQL, Apache, Nginx, Vault, Terraform, HELM
