When our world-renowned monitoring software PRTG is deployed in large & complex IT networks, IT admin teams utilize the multi-server data management and visualizations provided by our own cross-platform desktop application. This application was developed with commercially licensed Qt / C ++ and is aimed at more than 50,000 power users around the world who work with Paessler PRTG.

To put together a world class and performant experience, we have a team of talented desktop application engineers and we're looking for you to join and strengthen our team.
YOUR TASKS
- Together with the team you are responsible for development of the cross-platform PRTG desktop application
- You develop the desktop applications user interface, custom visual components, business rules and in-memory data management functions written in C++/Qt
- You develop prototypes designed to evaluate hypotheses for new product concepts and ideas
- You bring new ideas to the team, discussing and planning their implementation together with the Product Owner
- You support our technical support team with 3rd level support cases
YOUR PROFILE
- You have experience with Qt/QML
- You are confident in the daily use of developer tooling such as QtCreator, JIRA and Git
- You have experience with modern C++ on Windows, ideally on MacOS and Linux too
- You have just as much fun sharing your knowledge as you do when learning from colleagues
- You have knowledge in software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles, and coding of complex software systems
- You consider unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration as essential elements of software development
- You have preferably first hand experience in agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
