We are focused on long-term goals and are currently comprised of 350 employees. While we are based in Nürnberg (Germany), our main product PRTG is used by big and small companies from all around the globe. These people build PRTG, a network, cloud and IoT monitoring software product that is used and trusted by more than 500,000 users daily.  Additionally we are developing completely new solutions in the area of Cloud and Internet of Things.

YOUR TASKS

  • Work in an agile team within our large software development department
  • Further development of our monitoring software in the backend, web frontend, apps, cloud or on premises, depending on experience and interests
  • Creating new features in one or more of the areas of network monitoring, data management, middleware, frontend, reporting
  • The opportunity to work on all aspects of the software, allowing you to see the immediate impact of your ideas and work
  • Contributing own ideas, discussing, planning and implementing them together with the team and product owner
  • Supporting colleagues with code reviews and testing new features
  • Ensure high quality and stability of the system, working closely with QA colleagues
  • Continuous improvement of architecture and code quality, unit tests and automated system tests

YOUR PROFILE

  • Passion for software development
  • Fun with challenges and new technologies 
  • Touch points with our tech stack (C++, Javascript, Go, Delphi, Python) or eager to learn new stuff
  • Experience in writing maintainable and testable code
  • Agile mindset and ideally experience with agile development
  • Confident handling of Git
