Solution Engineer (m/w/d) - Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region
We are looking for a Solution Engineer to support our sales team. Your main task will be to support our prospects, customers and partners in their evaluation and decision-making process regarding our software "PRTG Network Monitor". This position has a focus on the APAC region and is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Malaysian citizens and permanent residents only. This is not a mandatory requirement if you are already working for Paessler.
YOUR TASKS
- In cooperation with the Sales team, you create technical solution concepts for the customer and solve their technical questions
- You present our software to customers – remotely or on site
- You represent PRTG on exhibitions, conferences, and partner events, and you are able to thrill participants in regularly held webinars
- You offer trainings sessions to our channel partners’ technical staff
- You work on the technical part of tenders
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a strong technical background in IT and ideally have already gained experience in presales or consulting. A background in IoT or OT is very welcome.
- You have a good understanding and technical know-how of IT networks and ideally also some knowledge or experience in monitoring IT environments.
- You like to present, have good rhetorical skills, and enjoy delivering added value to our customers through our product and service
- You think analytically, are problem-oriented and can explain complex issues easily
- You have a very good command of English. Knowledge of Japanese and/or Chinese is a big plus.
- You are willing to travel in the APAC region and to our HQ in Germany. Plan travel engagement per year: up to 40%
