Working Student Business Development Americas

We are looking for a working student willing to gain experience with our Sales and Marketing teams. In this role you will handle the priorization of our sales leads, keep CRM records updated, analyze the impact our activities have in terms of return of investment and more, together with our Business Development Team. You will work closely with Regional Marketing, our US Direct and Channel Sales teams, and our LATAM Sales team, in activities aimed to better evaluate our regional activities, to attract new business, build customer loyalty and support our channel partners. This role is based in our HQ in Nuremberg/Germany with 15-20 hours/week.

YOUR TASKS

  • Uploading our virtual events and webinar leads into our CRM tool
  • Filtering out the most important leads and hand them over to the sales teams
  • Updating our website and internal systems with latest information about our activities
  • Following up on payments associated to our customer/partner facing events
  • Taking over the organization of virtual events, webinars and eventually physical events, along with our Regional Marketing department
  • Analyzing data from different sources to calculate Return on Investments
  • Engaging into conversations with the Internet of Things ecosystem the Americas

YOUR PROFILE

  • As a working student you have already gained some experience in working in Sales or Marketing – but you are also willing to get a learning experience with
  • You are interested in conducting sales and marketing on the US and LATAM
  • You can self-manage and are happy to work remotely in a virtual team, where communication is predominantly online / per video
  • You are interested in an international matrix work environment, with colleagues based out in the US, MX, GT, CR and DE and executing local strategies based on corporate directions
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication in English. Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
  • You love keeping up with new trends in marketing, sales, the technology industry and IoT
  • You continually strive for the best and seek to achieve exciting, innovative methods in your work approach
  • You’re willing to work with the Americas team in their time zone: Work between 03.00  and 08.00 p.m. CEST.
