Account Manager - Expansion, in the U.S.

As Account Manager for Paessler you love interacting and building rapport with prospects and customer alike. The importance of monitoring critical IT, OT and IoT devices, systems and services is obvious to you and motivates you to help deliver those benefits to a wider audience of PRTG users and potential users. You excel at identifying pain points, delivering value, educating contacts and closing sales opportunities. Being organized, working remotely and independently while always willing to lend a hand to your team, come naturally to you. This position is based in TX or AZ/USA. U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.

YOUR TASKS

  • Generate expansion revenue for Paessler
  • Identify opportunities for strategic expansion with existing customers, from organic growth to overusage tactics to use case whitespace
  • Work in partnership with the Customer Success Manager to expand a customer’s usage of Paessler in order to drive natural expansion
  • Methodically develop high quality deals by identifying pain, working to develop a champion, and validating value of Paessler’s products
  • Make use of xBRs to grow our network and identify pipeline at assigned named accounts 
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and (live) technical demonstrations
  • Push Seller-to-Seller engagements in case of channel opportunities
  • Representing Paessler at Events and Webinars
  • Ensure revenue forecast and documentation is up to date in our CRM at all times, CRM hygiene is a must
  • Make use of the sales methodology (BANT, MEDDPICC, …) to improve our insights and define next steps for assigned opportunities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven track record in sales with strong experience in expansion sales / account management and working with channel partners
  • Ideally you also have experience with IT infrastructure
  • Experienced in working with various CRM platforms 
  • Proven ability to work in an innovative and ever-changing environment 
  • You are independent, proactive, forward thinking and self-reliant 
  • U.S. citizens and permanent residents only
  • You are willing to travel up to 30% within the U.S.
