YOUR TASKS
Data Stewardship & Governance
- Own the data quality standards across Salesforce lead to cash objects and connected systems.
- Act as the first line of defence for data integrity: monitor incoming data for completeness, consistency, and correctness on a recurring basis.
- Maintain and enforce deduplication rules and merge protocols for account and contact records across Salesforce, Chargebee, and Odoo.
- Document data lineage, field definitions, and data quality rules in a shared data dictionary.
Data Cleansing & Scrubbing
- Execute regular data scrubbing cycles: identify and remediate duplicate records, invalid email addresses, missing required fields, and non-standard company name formats.
- Classify and flag problematic data (free/generic domains, role-based addresses, unsubscribed contacts) and route findings to the appropriate owners.
- Normalize account and company name data across systems, including international legal entity suffix standardization and special character handling.
- Support cross-system reconciliation between multiple platforms (Chargebee, Odoo) and CRM to ensure account records are in sync.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards or SQL-based reports that track data quality KPIs (completeness rate, duplicate rate, field fill rate) over time.
- Proactively surface data anomalies and trends to stakeholders in Revenue Ops, Sales, and Finance.
- Produce regular data health summaries for leadership review, highlighting progress on remediation efforts.
Quote-to-Cash & Revenue Process Support
- Support the accuracy and integrity of data across the full lead to cash cycle: from lead and account creation through to order, invoice, and renewal.
- Identify data-related blockers in revenue workflows (mismatched account names, missing billing data, incorrect subscription metadata) and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales Operations to validate that product, pricing, and subscription data in Salesforce aligns with billing records.
YOUR PROFILE
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in a data quality, data operations, CRM administration, or revenue operations role.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (CRM, CPQ, RCA) — navigating objects, running reports, managing records, and understanding field relationships.
- Working knowledge of the quote-to-cash cycle and how data flows between CRM, CPQ, and billing systems.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, profiling, and transforming data (SELECT, JOINs, aggregations, subqueries, temp tables).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying data inconsistencies.
Comfortable working with large datasets and comfortable flagging ambiguity rather than guessing.
Nice to Have
- Experience with subscription billing platforms such as Chargebee or Odoo.
- Familiarity with fuzzy matching techniques or deduplication tooling (e.g., Python, Power Query, or dedicated MDM tools).
- Exposure to T-SQL or SQL Server (SSMS) in a Windows environment.
- Experience building reports or dashboards in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Salesforce Reports & Dashboards).
- Background in B2B SaaS or software/IT companies.
- Familiarity with GDPR or other data privacy frameworks as they apply to contact data.
How Success Is Measured
In the first 90 days, success means having a clear picture of the current state of data quality across key objects in Salesforce, a documented backlog of remediation tasks, and at least one recurring data cleansing process in place. At the 6-month mark, measurable improvement in field completeness and duplicate rate is expected, alongside full ownership of the data quality monitoring cadence. Long-term, this role is accountable for keeping revenue data reliable enough that go-to-market teams can trust what they see — with minimal manual intervention.
Work Environment & Team
You will work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and the broader Revenue Operations function. Day-to-day collaboration happens with stakeholders who own CRM processes and with the data engineering function responsible for pipelines and reporting infrastructure. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with a clear path toward greater ownership of data governance as the function matures.
