Privacy policy for application procedures (Art. 13 GDPR)
Thank you very much for your interest in our job advertisement. For Paessler AG (hereinafter “Paessler”), the security of personal data of our applicants, employees, contractual partners and all third parties who are otherwise connected with us is very important.
Paessler processes personal data transmitted and collected during the application process in accordance with the legal provisions on data protection and data security of the Federal Republic of Germany (BDSG) and the EU (GDPR). In addition to our general privacy policy, we will inform you below about the processing of your data as part of the application process.
Purpose of data processing
Data which are transmitted to us will be treated confidentially and processed exclusively for the purpose of the selection of applicants.
Disclosure of your data
After entering and transmitting, your data will be transferred through an encrypted connection directly to the server of our external service provider. All data will be encrypted on the basis of the TLS protocol. The transmitted data will be hosted at a provider by way of processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Paessler, as well as the external service provider and the provider use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The implemented security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments.
In addition, your data will be accessible not only to our Human Resources area but also to those areas relevant to the vacant position in Germany, another EU country or abroad.
Deletion of your application
You can contact our Human Resources Team under [email protected] to have your application deleted at any time. Personal data will then be deleted in accordance with the applicable legal regulations. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent the deletion or if further storage is necessary for the purpose of the presentation of evidence.
Apart from that your personal data will be deleted one year after completion of the application process. If your application is followed by the conclusion of a contract, your data may be processed for the purpose of the usual administration process in compliance with the applicable legal regulations.
Consent
By transmitting your application, you declare that you have taken knowledge of and agree to the information in this privacy policy with regard to the processing of your personal data.
