Paessler is looking for a Sales Director to lead our Europe North team across the UK & Ireland, Scandinavia, and Benelux. You will manage a team of account executives, own the regional revenue target, and step in personally on strategic deals and key partner relationships when it counts.

We are a monitoring company – we measure everything – and we bring that same mindset to sales. You will be expected to manage by data: clean pipeline, honest forecasting, and performance conversations grounded in numbers, not instinct.

YOUR TASKS

Team & Commercial Leadership

  • Hire, manage, and develop a team of account executives across the region
  • Own the regional ACV/ARR target and be accountable for its delivery
  • Step in on strategic deals to add senior support, remove blockers, and close at the right level
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with Paessler’s key regional partners

Data-Driven Management

  • Run a tight forecast – rep-by-rep and deal-by-deal, not just a top-line roll-up
  • Track pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal velocity to spot risks and opportunities early
  • Coach the team through data: pipeline reviews, win/loss analysis, and stage-conversion trends
  • Keep CRM (Salesforce) accurate and complete – this is a non-negotiable team standard

Go-To-Market

  • Develop and execute a regional plan covering direct sales and the channel partner ecosystem
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Engineering on demand generation and product positioning
  • Feed partner and customer insights back into product and pricing decisions

YOUR PROFILE

Required

  • 5+ years of B2B software or SaaS sales, with at least 2 years managing a team
  • Experience selling into IT infrastructure, networking, or adjacent markets
  • Solid analytical skills – comfortable with pipeline data, conversion metrics, and business cases
  • Track record managing channel partners alongside a direct sales motion
  • Clear, confident communicator in English; willing to travel ~25% across the region

Nice to Have

  • Proficient Salesforce user – as a daily management tool, not just for reporting
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, IT ops, or observability markets

FACTS FOR YOU

  • Many possibilities to further develop your individual skillset
  • Innovative and creative work environment with plenty of room for new ideas
  • A structured onboarding phase with experienced colleagues
  • Flexible working hours and a family-friendly environment
  • Permanent employment contract
  • Paessler is a fast-growing midsized company that has been in the market for 20 years. The company is focused on long-term goals and is currently comprised of 400+ employees
