We are looking for a Financial Accountant to safeguard the integrity of our accounting information and support the financial reporting of our parent company.

In this role, you'll record, verify, and consolidate transactions, support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You'll also help drive general financial analysis and identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and digitalize our accounting processes.

YOUR TASKS

  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
  • Participate in month-end close process and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of the parent company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Assists in general financial management and analysis
  • Identify areas for improvements in existing processes (esp. standardization, automation, digitalization) in accounting

YOUR PROFILE

  • Accounting degree or similar with a focus on finance and accounting
  • 6+ years of total relevant experience, including accounting in accordance IFRS/US GAAP (HGB is a plus)
  • CPA / ACCA license
  • Audit experience is preferable
  • Strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities - goal/results and deadline-driven
  • Precise, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards 
  • Team-player capable of working both collaboratively and independently with all levels of the organization
  • Advances Microsoft Office skills
  • Sage Intacct experience is a plus
  • German language is nice to have
