Paessler PRTG, a leader in network monitoring solutions, is seeking an experienced Growth Product  Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Growth Product Marketing team. This role is pivotal in connecting product-led growth strategies to our existing marketing funnels. The role will work across these marketing funnels to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth by optimizing the customer and user journeys for conversion - from product adoption, trial conversion, account expansion through to renewal.

Focus areas of the role include using user metrics to shape the trial and customer journey, improving our trial-to-purchase, purchase-to-expansion and retention metrics. With a focus on product-led growth, the Growth Product Marketing Manager is the key interface between marketing and key stakeholder teams, including Product, Engineering, BI and ERP. They will ensure marketing use-cases are correctly prioritized, and that marketing strategies are aligned with the product roadmap in a way that is supportive of our goal to optimize our inbound and expansion funnels.

YOUR TASKS

Customer Journey Optimization

  • Own and improve the customer journey from trial to buy to renew, identifying pain points and opportunities for enhancement that drive revenue.
  • Manage conversion rate optimization testing within the product / trial.
  • Analyze trial metrics, engagement data, and conversion rates to determine success factors. Re-engineer key steps in the journey (e.g. the trial and freeware) to maximize conversion rates, leveraging marketing tactics, or driving product enhancements to achieve this.

Data-Driven Growth Strategy

  • Monitor key metrics, including trial behavior, AOV, GDR etc. to assess the health of the customer journey and adjust strategies accordingly, and improve tracking and user data flows from product.
  • Work with the relevant marketing funnel leaders to deploy these strategies; for example: Supporting the inbound team with tactics to improve trial conversions, spanning e.g. Trial UI, trial emails, freeware conversion. And supporting the expansion team with tactics to improve upgrades, e.g. overage campaigns, in-app journeys.
  • Regularly review and report on the performance of growth initiatives, using analytics to drive future strategies and optimize ROI.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the wider Product and Engineering teams to influence decisions that impact marketing revenue and pipeline targets. Provide insights and feedback on user needs to shape product enhancements that will improve adoption.
  • Partner with the ERP teams to streamline and optimize the buying journey and purchase experience, ensuring an efficient and frictionless checkout process.

Drive Innovation and Experimentation

  • Design and execute A/B tests, growth experiments, and new marketing initiatives to identify scalable opportunities across the trial and purchase journey.
  • Work with product and development teams to implement growth-focused features or integrations that enhance user experience and drive higher conversions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand and support pipeline performance improvement initiatives.
