We are looking for an experienced and technically driven IT Platform engineer to serve as Team Lead to serve as a hands-on technical authority and leader within our DevOps engineering team. You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes, staying close to the code and systems while helping guide the team through technical leadership and mentorship with a path to a manager role.

Please note that we can only consider applicants based in Krakow and surrounding areas, and that this role is offered on a full-time employment contract only. We cannot offer a B2B model.

YOUR TASKS

  • Serve as the technical lead and go-to expert for the IT Platform team, with direct hands-on involvement in implementing Infrastructure as Code, automation, and platform engineering
  • Evaluate, implement, and continuously improve infrastructure, scripts, and tooling in close collaboration with development teams
  • Architect and build automation solutions for monitoring, alerting, and optimization of IT processes
  • Design and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Build, maintain, and improve development, test, and deployment pipelines including configuration, debugging, and optimization
  • Monitor availability, performance, and resource consumption of applications and CI/CD pipelines, and drive improvements directly
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex infrastructure and platform issues, acting as a technical escalation point for the team
  • Define and track reliability metrics (MTTR, deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and tooling decisions

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
  • Experience in a technical lead or senior individual contributor capacity — you lead through expertise and example, not just coordination
  • Deep, practical knowledge of Linux server administration, performance tuning, and maintenance
  • Proven hands-on experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production
  • Strong practical security and infrastructure experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent, including writing and reviewing IaC regularly
  • Solid working knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), including pipeline design and troubleshooting
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar — you automate first
Experience deploying AI tools and performing secure integrations (MCP server deployment, LLMs/Generative AI)
  • Solid grasp of security concepts including secrets management and secure coding practices
  • Full working proficiency in English

FACTS FOR YOU

  • Many possibilities to further develop your individual skillset
  • Innovative and creative work environment with plenty of room for new ideas
  • A structured onboarding phase with experienced colleagues
  • Flexible working hours and a family-friendly environment
  • Permanent employment contract
  • A great working atmosphere in an enthusiastic international team with flat hierarchies
