We are currently hiring for the position of IT Security Analyst (all genders).
The IT Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the organization's computer networks and systems by implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, analyzing security reports, contributing to security audits and responding to security incidents.
YOUR TASKS
- Understanding of best practices for cloud security and deep understanding of cloud security architectures.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk and technical vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in the organization's security posture and recommend improvements.
- Incident Response: Monitor security incidents, investigate breaches, analyze alerts generated from EDR systems and document findings to enhance the organization's security measures.
- Lead and contribute to developing and managing Security Projects.
- Security Implementation: Develop, implement and maintain security policies, programs, and standards to protect sensitive data and networks from internal and external threats.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and organizational policies regarding data protection and information security.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams and management to ensure that security measures align with business requirements and operational needs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent certifications such as CISSP or OCSP is required
- Experience with maintaining controls for adherence to SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 audits
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools such as penetration testing tools, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, intrusion detection systems and data encryption technologies
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze security incidents, pen test reports, vulnerability reports and develop effective solutions
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey security policies and procedures to non-technical staff
- 5 years of experience in a security role
- On Call rotation required for the role
