Manager - IT Platform Team (all genders)

We are looking for an experienced and driven Manager - IT Platform Team (all genders) to lead our DevOps engineering team and oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and reliability.
Please note, that we can only consider candidates who are based in Krakow, Poland.
YOUR TASKS
- Act as a team lead and mentor for the IT Platform team, including hands-on implementation of Infrastructure as Code and automation
- Evaluation and implementation of infrastructures, scripts and tools to evolve the services together with the development teams.
- Automation, monitoring, and optimization of IT processes
- Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure to ensure scalability, security and cost efficiency
- Automation, maintenance and improvement of the development, test and deployment processes
- Monitoring the availability, performance and resource consumption of applications and CI/CD pipeline
- Assisting in troubleshooting, optimizing and enhancing the business platforms
- Establish reliable and repeatable metrics (MTTR, deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time) and report on team performance.
- Forecast infrastructure needs, plan capacity, and provide budget information for tools, platforms and projects
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
- 2+ years in a team lead or management capacity.
- Deep knowledge of Linux server administration, maintenance, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
- Strong hands-on security and infrastructure experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Powershell or similar).
- Experience deploying AI tools and performing secure integrations (MCP server deployment, LLMs/Generative AI)
- Experience with security concepts (Secrets management, secure coding practices)
- Full working proficiency in English
