Product Manager (all genders)
In this key role, you will own and evolve the product strategy for PRTG Network Monitor, while partnering across the broader PRTG portfolio to ensure a coherent experience across deployment models and customer segments. You’ll work closely with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to ship impactful releases—balancing technical depth with business outcomes. If you’re a strategic thinker, a customer advocate, and comfortable navigating complexity (including AI-enabled capabilities), this is your chance to make a significant impact.
YOUR TASKS
- Own and drive the product strategy for PRTG: Define and continuously adapt a clear, outcome-driven roadmap for PRTG Network Monitor, aligned to evolving B2B needs across IT and OT monitoring (networking, servers, applications, cloud, IoT).. Set measurable success criteria (e.g., adoption, retention, time-to-value) and make crisp tradeoffs that strengthen Paessler’s market position.
- Champion the customer: Develop a deep, evidence-based understanding of customer needs and pain points through user interviews, surveys, data analysis, and direct engagement with a diverse customer base spanning SMBs to large enterprises. Translate those insights into clear product requirements and roadmap decisions that deliver measurable customer value.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams: Drive alignment across engineering, UX, research, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to deliver valuable releases predictably. Ensure launch readiness through strong GTM enablement (positioning input, sales/partner enablement, release narratives, and feedback loops) and communicate progress transparently to stakeholders.
- Turn trends into product advantage: Define and execute the product strategy for PRTG's AI features — including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, intelligent root cause analysis, and guided troubleshooting. Actively leverage AI tools in your own PM practice to accelerate discovery, synthesis, and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a clear and compelling product vision: Craft a product vision that connects technical strategy with customer and business value, aligning with company direction and resonating with target markets. Keep the narrative grounded in outcomes and differentiated value for modern IT operations teams.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle: Own the product lifecycle end-to-end—from discovery and validation to launch, iteration, and end-of-life planning. Define and track the KPIs and OKRs that reflect genuine product health and business impact. Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to continuously sharpen prioritization, validate assumptions, and drive accountability across the product lifecycle.

- Proficiency in using prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW) and experience working in Agile environments, ideally with Scrum or Kanban methodologies), with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to delivery and iteration.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment among stakeholders with diverse and sometimes competing perspectives, and to operate effectively without direct authority.
