Our digital platforms generate a wealth of valuable data—but to make the most of it, we need precise and reliable web tracking. That’s where you come in! To enhance our tracking capabilities and ensure high-quality data for decision-making, we’re looking for a Tracking Specialist with a focus on Google Web Tracking. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing tracking solutions that help drive our Marketing and Sales efforts in a SaaS environment. YOUR TASKS
- You manage and optimize our web tracking setup, ensuring accurate data collection across our digital channels.
- You implement, maintain, and troubleshoot tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google BigQuery.
- You collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and BI teams to define tracking requirements and ensure data aligns with business goals.
- You develop and refine tracking strategies for key web and product metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- You monitor tracking performance and troubleshoot data discrepancies, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- You provide training and documentation to empower internal teams with knowledge about tracking best practices.
- You stay up to date with the latest developments in web tracking, data privacy, and analytics technologies, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have proven experience in web tracking and digital analytics, ideally with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and BigQuery.
- You are skilled in setting up and troubleshooting tracking implementations, including event tracking, enhanced eCommerce, and cross-domain tracking.
- You have a solid understanding of JavaScript and HTML/CSS, enabling you to work efficiently with tracking scripts and custom configurations.
- You are familiar with key web analytics metrics and concepts, particularly in a SaaS or digital marketing environment.
- You have experience with cookieless server-side tracking solutions, ensuring data collection remains effective while staying compliant with privacy regulations.
- You have an analytical mindset and attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- You are a strong communicator and team player, able to translate tracking concepts into clear insights for stakeholders.
- You have a very good command of English.
